Renew McAfee

I bought my computer from Dell 15 months it came with with McAfee Security Center now this period has expired I keep getting bombarded with reminders to renew for a year at the price at £39.99 I have already Malwarebytes Anti Malware which I downloaded from this website I just wondered if I should download the free AVG anti virus program I hav heard good reports about this system.

 

Well you do have to replace McAfee with something, though the debate about what is best will go on forever. Firewallwise well, Windows does have one of its own, so just make sure it is on, and AVwise you could use AVG, Avast, Avira, MS Security Essentials, Comodo, etc, etc. However MBAM won't do the job as it's not realtime, it's just an on-demand scanner.
