repairing quicktime in xp o/s

    Hi, I seem to have a couple of programs hanging and the error report points to mod quicktime.qts. Is it possible to repair quicktime? I did a search of it and it appears numerous times so I really don't know how to fix it if it can be fixed. thanks for any input.

    Hi

    Uninstall and then download and install latest Quicktime version and see if that fixes your issue.

    Thank you Halo for your help. Uninstalling quicktime version 4 and installing the the latest version 7.5 has cured my program hangs. I was scared at first thinking I'd create new problems but went for it. Now my computer is running flawlessly again. Thanks again. MG rocks.
