Repeatedly Locked Out of YIM

System Info::XP Pro Version 2002 Service Pack, 80 MB RAM, 265 MHz {i know, I know its sad.... lol}, ISP SBCGLOBAL (Yahoo), Dial-up, ummm anything else?

My problem:::I am repeatedly booted outta Yahoo Instant Messenger, I log on, then BOOM logged out, I log back on, BOOM logged off, etc, etc. Then lately I have been finding that my account "has been temporarily blocked" ddue to security issues. I am given a link but the link just keeps looping back to the password page. (No nothing wrong with pw) I guess what I am needing (among other things ) is an "Unlock Account Program". Two ppl have sent me same program, but the same file is missing in both downloads. HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP! lol

Error Message when try to open::::Component "MSWINSCK.OCX" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered; a file is missing or invalid.

 

If that's not a typo, I'm surprised XP is running at all.


Anyway, I don't know about the YIM thing, but this might help your MSWINSCK.OCX problem:

Start > Run > (type in) regsvr32 MSWINSCK.OCX, hit Enter.

If you get a "...... succeeded" message, try that Account Unlocker again.
