Replace the Welcome Screen? No, not THAT one!

I'm the only user of this secure computer, so there are no passwords, and login to XP Home is automatic and fast: the XP screen shows briefly with the screen-saver bar display and the MS logo, then the blue Welcome Screen, and then my desktop. Look, Ma! No hands!

The Welcome Screen I mean has no chess pieces or other user-ID pictures and no usernames or choices or things to click: it's several colors of blue, and has nothing on it except the word Welcome, in the center.

I'd like to replace that Welcome page (and the message it displays) with one of my own. Everything I've seen on the Web is about that OTHER Welcome Screen that has login names and user-ID pictures on it, and has to be clicked (somewhere) to get it to go away.

Anybody know where I can get info on replacing my XP Welcome Screen with one of my own?

A secure computer with no passwords, auto-login, and connected to internet?

Sorry, vlad, I meant secure here at home.

Yeah, I've got the hardware firewall and the software firewall, but I know about not being really secure when there are so many anal orifices out there on the Net.

    Oh, well.

I'd rather be on it and at risk than without it and perfectly secure. The price of absolute security is having to stay completely off all networks at all times. That's too high a price to pay.

Besides, if you do that, it means the bad guys win.

Mebbe the reason I never see the login screen is that I never "log off." I just shut down every night, and I haven't seen the chess piece since I installed the .Net framework update months ago. Got rid of it fast then, too.

Thanks, m'fren'. I'll give your suggestion a looksee.
