Replacing C Drive For Windows 10

I have had my small SSD C drive fail to boot or repair, despite following all options from Windows auto repair including the re-install options.

There isn't much data on it other than the OS as I have several larger conventional HDDs installed.

From the bios, sometimes the SSD is seen as an option for boot drive but mostly not.
Whether it is seen or not, it loops around the auto-repair sequence, followed by the failed to repair notification.

There was a blue screen which managed to self repair a few weeks ago, but this now looks to be a permanent fail situation.

So if I go out & buy another small SSD how do I go about the re-installation of Windows 10, please?

    You could try https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10startfresh

My first thought was to download the ISO file but first make sure you have the installation number. Windows 10 should not need it but best to be safe. You can turn the ISO into a bootable USB drive. Change the drives and make sure it boots from the USB.
    Good luck.

Or you could clone the disk...

Many thanks for advice & links.

Managed to get a small SSD today, & got back up & running.
