I just bought a stick of 512 from corsair, and I currently have 2 sticks of 256 in my computer. One is older that come with the computer, and one is newer but is not a brand name (SpekTek). I was wondering, which one should I replace?

    More info would help.
When running different brands of memory, they will only run as fast as the slowest rated stick.
Holds true for both rated timings and speed.

Sometimes running different brands or different speeds you can have conflick's and be unable to mix em or run em together.
