    Hi,

I am replacing my old, tired computer in my office at work with a new one. I have transferred all my files to the new computer, and I am wondering what I now have to do to make this new computer part of the network. I changed the name of the computer and the workgroup name to the same as the old. Any other settings I need to change or anything else I need to do? I am running WinXP Pro. Any help appreciate!

    Should be easy set up.
    Is connected already.
Control pannel/ network connections/ create new connection
also in there is: setup home or office network
    also is: network troubleshooter.

Make sure your firewall is off when doing the set up, after set up can turn on firewall, may be some settings to allow sharing and communications with others on your network.
