This is what pops up whenever I try to search on IE: The requested look up key was not found in any active activation context. What goes?

What version of windows? (as well as any service packs installed) What version of IE? What search engine?
Do you have another browser to test? Does search work on an alternate browser?

    Hi.
After reading up on this issue, I have determined that you might want to follow the following steps.
    1) Run Virus Scan.
    2) Uninstall Internet Explorer 7.
    3) Start> Run> type sfc /scannow and then press enter
    4) Follow the prompts.
    5) Restart when the process is complete.

I might also add that I recommend that you use a better web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or http://google.com/chrome.
