Requesting a Digital Certificate

For one of my classes at school, I am supposed to obtain a digital certificate for IE.
I am running Windows XP, but I have wiped out the hard drive and reloaded XP on to the computer.
When I type in the address they want me to use. //instructor01/certsrv/
I have nothing come up.
Doing some research, I did find OE has to be installed for the Profile Assistant to work, so I did install that.
Anyone have any ideas why I can't get this to work?

 

Well, I think my problem is this has to be done in classroom, not on an online course. So, I emailed the instructor to see how those of us online are supposed to do it
