res:// etc. only in ie6?

    i was discussing this problem with a coworker today who has picked up this bug. the question we came up with is: is this thing limited to IE or does it have its fun with netscape also? i've been trying ot get rid of it for quite a few days now and i'm ready to go back to chalk and slate.

    I thought it was specific to IE, and activex, so another browser, like Firefox, Opera or Mozilla might be your new friend.

    if you go mozilla, make sure it's mozilla firefox 0,9 and not the plain mozilla.
