My computer has two hard drives, one is 60 Gb and the other is 120 Gb.
WHen I try to defragment it with Diskeeper, there is almost 1/8 of the hard drive that is reserved for system space. How do make that part of the hard drive, not reserved, and able to be written onto?

    Thank you

You cant system space is for the operating system and is there for the system to add changes to system settings registry values altering it could result in loss of information and files total crash.

you can get some hardrive space back by reducing the% of your recycle bin for each drive right click recycle bin and properties and adjust the size to your preference you do not want to go to small just in case you accidentally delete something that way you can retrive it but i found the settings to be a little high for me esp on a large hardrive
