Reset Windows Password?

I have Win XP with 3 user. One of the other user put a password on my account and will not tell me what it is. How would I go about resetting it?

I also palled the hard drive and installed it as an ext HD and tryed to pull off my data files but when I try to access my files it fails with "My Documents is not accessible. Access is denied."

this will let you get at your data, i've used it several times. as far as resetting your p/w, g/l. you could always create another acct as an admin (but, you have to have access to an admin acct), delete your old acct (once you get your data off of there), and use the new acct. i always p/w protect my comps (this is a good reason why). if it was me, i'd create the new acct (what i posted above). then, delete their accts, and make them use the guest acct.!!

try booting into "safe mode", by tapping the f8 key as it boots up. then, log into the "admin" acct, hopefully nobody p/w protected that acct? from there you should be able to create an acct. - g/l, sos
