I recently spent 6 months in Okinawa Japan. The "Hotel" I stayed at offered free internet service so the company put us up there. It was actually more like an apartment complex, but it was nice.

While I was there I unfortunately didn't have a LAN surge protector. The in house network had some issues where it was going in and out all the time and I think it wiped the MAC address from my integrated NIC on my Laptop. My current MAC reads all 0's. As my laptop is no longer warrantied HP couldn't do anything for me.

I'm running an HP Pavilion dv9910us. All stock, Vista. The question I have is is there some kind of utility I can download somewhere that can reset or reinstall my MAC address? I do have wi-fi connectivity so it's not a total flop but if I try to use the wired connection I have nothing but problems.
