Resizing Video Files.

    Does anyone happen to know how to resize the display resolution on a video (such as .avi, .ogg, .wmv, etc.) or know where I can find the info/tolls to do so?
    I watch a lot of Japanese Anim and TV shows that I DL off the net and I wanna burn them to DVD so I can watch them with friends and family but the subtitles get cut off when I play them on a TV ;.; so I just wanna find out how to resize teh display resolution so my TV will display the subtitles.
