Restarting explore.exe

Can the windows explorer be turned back on once it is turned off using Task Manager or does the computer have to be restarted?

 

Leave the taskmanager open & just go to Applications/New Task. Type in explorer & it will startup again.

 

Quickly, how do I bring up the run box if Explorer is turned off.

 

He just told you. You do it from the task manager. You do exactly as he just told you, or if you want you can simply go to file->run in the task manager.

If the task manager is closed, open it by pressing ctrl-alt-delete. You do not need explorer to open the task manager.

 

Actually, it is File, New Task (run...).

Or, click on the application tab, then right click in the window, then select "new task (run...)"

 

I KNOW that, Coco. I just want to know how to bring the "RUN" box up from the keyboard; Task Manager not withstanding.
