Hi, i didnt know where to put this as i dont know what is the cause.

My pc has just started restarting since yesterday.

I check the event viewer and this is the only error that happened around about the same time.

"The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
    oreans32"

This message is after the restart i think. Before the restart i got...

    1."Microsoft (R) Windows (R) 5.01. 2600 Service Pack 2 Uniprocessor Free."
2."The Event log service was started."
    3."The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000007f (0x0000000d, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini110506-01.dmp."

I dont know if its coincidance or not but when i have my external harddrive on i have noticed it has happened a couple times.

I just wondered if anyone has heard of this problem of knows what to do. Any advice on how to find out more in depth on whats the problem like certain checks to do.

    All advice appreciated greatly

    Cheers :)

It says that oreans32.sys should be here...C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\oreans32.sys. But its not. Also checked startup and nothing unusual in there either.

I did check the net for oreans32 and found the site that was linked above but because i couldn't find the oreans32 in that drivers folder i thought i would try and ask the pro's(you guys) for advice.

    Thanks for help. :)

    Is there anymore info needed?

Bitdefender agree to the license and then select Scan. DO NOT CHANGE THE OPTIONS TO SHOW ALL FILES SCANNED. That will make your logs huge and we don't need to see clean files. Once Bitdefender completes the scan:

Click-on the Detected Problems tab. Then select Click here to export the scan report

When the window comes up to save the report, change the Save as type: box to Text (Tab Delimited) (*.txt) and then in the File name box enter change to bdscan then click save. This will save a file named bdscan.txt in whatever folder you are currently in when you save the file (take notice of where you are at so you can find it later). This bdcan.txt file will actually contain HTML code that we can easily view later while reviewing your log. All we have to do is rename the file to bdscan.html.

This possibly sounds like a hardware issue.
I tried to add a SATA DVD burner I got the restarting and the quick blue screen of death for a second . I noticed the line simular to yours .
