Hello everyone, i'm having a slight problem, my p.c was working fine then I unplugged it for a while and a couple of months later I plugged it back in.
The problem is it loads fine but when it says loading windows xp it just restarts..
Anyone have any ideas how I could resolve this problem?

One way that sometimes works for me is to boot it into safe mode, then run CHKDSK. Doing this sometimes 'cures' the problem.

There are various ways to get to the menu where you can select Safe Mode, but it depends on your computer. On mine, it's F8.

Thanks for the reply, I tried going into safe mode, last good known configuration and normal and it just keeps doing the same thing... Any other ideas mate? THANKS
