   After I restored my system everything was working good. But I was told to put windows vista upgrade disk in and after I did I lost everything on my pc. And now when I try to restore it again the screen wont even come up. Is there another way I can restore my system to get everything back to the way it was at the begaing?

   You need to supply a lot more information.
   1. Brand, model and numbers after the model of the computer.
   2. Operating system that was restored.
   3.

   By whom and for what reason?
   
   Have you gone into the BIOS and made sure that the first boot device is the CD/DVD drive?
   
   

   Is the screen completely black all the time? If not, post exactly what you see.
