restoring items from recycle bin

    I've retitled my previous post about Windows Explorer. When restoring an item in the recycle bin, a notice pops up that Win Exp has a problem and will close. When it does, I notice some tray icons may disappear but can be put back with a restart. The selected item in the bin is restored as commanded. Is there a fix to this seemingly minor problem? I'm running WinXP and SP2 on a Dell desktop pc. Thanks.
