My son recently tried to correct a computer problem using the system restore feature in my windows xp home edition. Unfortunately he restored the system to the ORIGINAL, as in when I first bought the computer, date. Thusly I have lost a lot of information and settings. The info seems to be still there somewhere as over half of my hard drive is space is used.

My question is, can I reverse the the system restore? By looking at the system resore in the accesories I don't have any sytem restore points established. I don't know weather it was turned off or not.

    Thanks

You can try a reverse, I don't know of anyone that has ever tried it or how well it works.

Start System Restore and see if you have an option labeled Undo My Last Restoration.

normally in windows home (i have the same) when you click "start",control panel, system restore the screen that shows is restore my system to an earlier date, make a new restore point or undo my last restore, click your mouse over the small circle next to undo my last restore it should change colour then click next and sit back and let the computer do the rest
