Does Revo Uninstaller not work well with Win 7 (64 bit) (machine: HP Pavilion Slimline s5770uk-m)?

It worked fine on my last PC (a Medion PC running Win XP). On this new PC I've noticed Revo doesn't 'find' all my software. I just wanted to uninstall something and it wasn't on Revo. So, I used CCleaner where it was listed.

In my experience, I don't think Revo will uninstall (or list) any program that does not write info into the Registry. I could easily be wrong in my assumption and no doubt someone here in MG will correct me.

Well, I've learnt something new. I thought all programs wrote themselves into the registry.

From past experience it works well with 32 bit programs on a 64 bit system, but does not work with 64 bit programs. If you use the advanced mode be careful to check what you are removing after the uninstall is complete, especially from the registry.

I run quite a few programs on my computer and a few portable programs on a USB stick that to run, all you do is click the exe. No "installing" and adding to the registry is ever done.
