I just learned that Revo works with 32 byte only.
Does anone use a reliable uninstaller that attends to 32 and 64 byte?
    Thank you

The free Revo will uninstall 32 bit programs. If you have any 64 bit programs installed, they will not be shown.

Revo Uninstaller Pro will uninstall both 32 bit and 64 bit programs.
There is a 30 day trial so you can see if you like it. You can also see how many 64 bit programs you actually have installed. There might not be too many because 32 bit programs will run on a 64 bit version of Windows.

Social Security being what it is I usually work with free programs. I have noticed that Revo does clean up a lot of residual matter so something other than add remove is needed. When I ran IOBIT, as bad as some say it is, it showed a ton of programs that Revo did not so I guess I have numerous 64 byte programs.
    Have some thinking to do.

Ccleaner also works fine. I use it on my win7 64bit computer. Just hit the tools button on the left hand side and you'll be right in the uninstalling panel.

Also run the registry cleaner after uninstalling and it pretty much does the same as revo.

I have seen the uninstall tool in Ccleaner but did not know if it ran an uninstall similar to add/remove or was more thorough.

I never use a registry cleaner per se. I am surprised you have not had issues.

I will read up on GeekUninstaller and thank you.

What do you think Revo and Geek do? They search your registry and clean out what they think is safe.

They do but wouldn't you say the entire registry incurs greater risk than a program?

I don't think CCleaner is like Revo; it is more like Add/Remove.

I asked an internet friend what he used to remove a 64 bit program that did not show up in Revo. Here is what worked for him Advanced Uninstaller FREE 10.1.1
Here's an outside link because it is not in the downloads at MajorGeeks

    I found the company's page: http://www.innovative-sol.com/uninstaller-free/

Can't thank you enough for the help.
I read a dialogue and one person said there was a catch that although not stated up front, there is a trial period then you must pay. One way to find out.

I was just stating the obvious, not trying to start yet another pointless debate. Besides, ccleaner lets you decide what to remove or not.

It's what works for me without installing yet another program. That's all.

Peter, according to the comparison chart
    http://www.innovative-sol.com/uninstaller-free/upgrade.htm
the Pro version is free for 20 days.
I would think that as long as you stay away from the Pro, the Free version would work indefinitely. (My friend only used it once - he mainly uses Revo free which shows most of the programs he wanted to uninstall).

    >>I see. I will keep that information for future use.
Tbh, after all my reading and listening I was considering using Geek uninstaller folowed by IOBIT in that order. I do apprecaite all that has been done.
