Right click options box

The options which you normally get when you select a file and right click it are appearing automatically when I select files with the right mouse button. This isn't something which was turned on by anyone using this computer. How is this turned on and off?

 

That is normal. Any time you select a file with the right button, the context menu will appear. Are you saying that the context menu appears when you try to select it with the left mouse button?

 

Nope. Just that it didn't happen before and now it does. u

I've also had numerous instances of MSconfig.exe (little black msdos like programming window) popping up and executing things without me doing anything but too fast for me to see what it is doing. Is this normal?

 

No it is not. That may be a malware problem. I would go over and start a thread in the Malware Removal Forum after you have done the required steps in the sticky post.
