right click, save picture as : "problem problem"

ok, ususally when I click on an animation or image I can save it as a gif, jpeg, etc.

about 2 hours ago it started, when I right click and save picture as, not it will only save it as a bitmap image???? what the heck?

any ideas on how to fix.?

Ive looked around, rebooted twice, and can't seem to find the answer.

 

Try clearing your Internet cache... IE's temp files. I've heard that when it's full IE will occasionally do that.

Also, run Windows Update to ensure you're using the most up-to-date version of IE.

The cashe was da-facto of trouble and all is fixed now.

I forgot to cleen the cashe in IE for a long time now, mostly cuz I been using Mozilla lately, but now IE is saving me images goodley.
