right click to delete not working

    I have windows xp with sp 2 installed. What i'm having a problem with is when I open the start menu and I want to delete something in the there by right clicking it and deleting it, it won't work. Nothing comes up when I right click. By the way, I was having this problem before I installed SP2. Does anybody have a solution?

    No I haven't but right click does work in internet explorer.

    Try this, I pulled it from a Google search:

    Control Panel (classic view)> Taskbar & Start Menu Settings> Start Menu>
    Customize Advanced. Add check in box next to "Enable dragging and
    dropping." Click OK.

    Disabling this option removes the ability to organize the start menu by
    dragging and dropping. It also disables right click menus in a few areas.
