ring tones

Does anyone know of any software or web sites that allow you to create or download fre ringtones for mobile phones?

Be extremelycareful when d/loading ringtones. Make sure you read any terms and conditioons very carefully. Here in OZ, they can be a very expensive ripoff. Don't know where you are but be careful. Bazza

Only pay like 2p for wap usage, and if it's mono tones you're after then they cost the price of a text. Check the service status before ordering though.
And I guarantee you only pay for the wap as I've got many off this site before.

 

have a look at www.zedge.no for up/downloading ring tones.

if your after polyphonics, you can create a midi file with a program like Anvil Studios, and d/load a converter for your type of phone.

 

Something like WavePad will let you cut any MP3 down to a few seconds to use as a ringtone. Depending on which phone you have, there are freeware or commercial programs out there to upload the tones. As another post indicates, there are commercial sites that will allow you to download tones for a fee. I found cables by searching on ebay. Software found by using google.
