5/27/04 I thought I was being rather funny and alluding to the fact that my brother lives in Syracuse, my brother is smart about computers...maybe Kodo was my brother (secret alias and all). But he didn't get it and wrote "do I know your brother?"

So I wrote "I don't know, do you?" (but explained that I was actually "joking around" about him being my real brother...)

And he wrote: I'm not aware of having any sense of humor..

Isn't that a pathetic thing to say about oneself? Especially after almost 17,000 posts on this board? Have we failed him in some way...or is there some other explanation for this horrible fact?

Please, someone tell me because this has really eaten away at me since he disclosed this personal, yet tragic side of himself. I havent' slept well since and have sought out other experts on the matter to no avail. So now I'm seeking his friends and colleagues to avert this train before it becomes a full blown wreck.

How can we keep him from typing this phrase again in the next 17,000 posts:
I'm not aware of having any sense of humor.. Makes me tear up just reading it. (I have to go and rest now, this has really drained me of all energy)
