I tryed the mp3 ripper and one thing when I go into Options it has a dropdown list for FILE NAME STYLE..
You can pick Title...Artist and so on.

Then below this is another box that says FILE NAME PREVIEW.
And it has a name in here but I can not delette it.
    it says Hotel Califonia???

Not sure what a "pone thing" is but WMP is free, comes with windows and does a fine job of ripping CD's. You dont have to use it as a media player.

Let me tell you what I need.

I was useing iTunes just to rip CDs and it worked and was very easy.

But when it ript every song it put them in there own folder and in a Sub folder.

I just want a program that will rip songs to MP3 files and just put the files by them selves say on the dektop???

Thank you for your help I got the program FreeRip and installed it and set the output folder for the Riped Music to go into.

And I set the output file settings and all this.

But I load a CD in and the Tracks do not come up. And I looked all over for anything for importing tracks or opening tracks and found nothing.

    Can you help?

Click Help in the program. It takes you to the website and you can download and read the manual.

OK again I thank you for the help but there is one thing I do need help with that I do not see.

When I rip say one song it puts it in a Folder.

And if I rip another song from say a diferant CD it puts that song in a diferant Folder.

So what it does is put all my music I rip in the Folder I tell it to but it will make all folders for eatch new CD I rip.

Is there a way I can have it just rip a song to a File and not put it in a folder it makes?
