I won't say he was my favorite, but I did like his books. Links to news stories?

Good writer. Didn't see eye-eye with him on his politics, but the man was a talented word-smith.

Easily my all time favorite author, although I lost track of him about 10 yrs. ago.

I remember reading Slaughterhouse Five when I was a kid, '69, and three years later, in '72, the movie of the same name. Can't say I agreed with his political p.o.v.'s, either, but he was pretty good at that genre of story.
