Robo Antivirus?

On yesterday's MG front page (Jan 28 2011), I saw a program called Robo Antivirus. It is described as an "all-in-one solution, that protects your computer against known and unknown threats". OK, cool. I installed it out of curiosity, and it's fairly basic and rudimentary which is not necessarily a bad thing. But as far as I can tell, it doesn't have a process running in the background, so I don't see how it can offer protection in real-time, beyond being able to scan on-demand. Their web site has VERY little info, and no screen shots which I found odd. If anyone can shed some light on this, I'd be grateful. I'm going to send their support a copy of this post. Also, when I launch the program, and click the "Protection" tab, it causes an error in uTorrent, saying that it was unable to resume a torrent file. Weird. I attached a screen shot of Robo Antivirus with the "Protection" tab open, and it looks to me that it only offers protection when the program has been manually launched and is left open...
