Robster12 packs sand.....

Well, Grandma wanted another walkway in the backyard. Stepping stones with pebbles to fill in with. I'm no landscaper, but got to work.

Pics are below. Its almost finished now, I put the pebbles in today. Was shy by about 3 square feet worth (of course!!!).

While I was doing it, I thought:

1)While digging out the area (“sod-busting”), with the straight spade, I thought – Hey,
This is like Endi using an E-tool to dig in with!

2)Getting the 50 pound sand bags in and out of the car – like robo making a machine gun position maybe.

3)Finally, putting down the base of sand – Hey – look, I'm finally packing sand like xflat instructed us to...............................................
Just like working on the “back 40” on the ranch
Now all I need is a horse (and about 9000 more acres)
a cactus plant or two, what do you know?

I think it would have sounded better if it said,, Robster12 puts sand on walkway. That way nobody gets the wrong impression.

BTW:
It does look pretty good. The ground in that spot would always be muddy. Now Grandma, and whoever can walk around there no probemo...

TIP:
If you ever have to take up sod, and not use a fancy specialty tool to do it with,
be sure to file down the edge of the shovel to be sharp.

Makes all the difference in the world. That dirt was DRY.

And, hard to deal with...

It's a lot easier coz you don't have to cut out the grass, Robster, just lay the stones down and jump on them a few times and you're good to go
