I am having trouble with my roku xs usb player. I try to watch my HD videos from my hard drive and the video plays for a few minutes and then it crashes and restarts.

I don't know if there is much that can be done, but I wondered if anyone had any suggestions on this?:confused

Does it do the same behaviour when watching programs off of Netflix, Crackle, or other sites on it? How are you connecting to your network on the Roku?

I think the problem is with the size/quality of the video and the size of HD I am using. Apparently roku does not have "support" for mass storage devices so that can cause problems.

I did have a bit of the same problem with my 16GB thumb-drive I have. But not near the problems I am having now.

But I did find something else cool! The app Plex just because an official app on roku so it has good support and is easy to use. So all the video on my computer I can stream right to my roku, and all my iDevices(but it costs $4.99 in iTunes) and it can stream up to 1080p quality and it plays most all file types. So I happy. :D

I still am looking for a way to watch live YouTube video on my roku.

Does anyone here know how to do this?
