Rollback Bios On Hp Pavilion All-in-one 24-b010?

My HP Pavilion All-In-One 24-b010 has been acting very slow. It was a lot faster before I installed a BIOS update. I have tried to rollback my BIOS by pressing esc until the startup options thingy pops up and then I press f10. When I go to rollback, I get an error message saying that a signature files is missing, even though it is in the folder with the .bin. I have disabled secure boot and enabled legacy drives. Still no luck. Same error. Can someone help?

 

Go back into your bios and make sure that no caches have been disabled by the flash update.
Mainly, check that the CPU cache is enabled.
If this seems ok, reset the new bios back to defaults, reboot and test again.
Finally, check that the CPU fan did not drop off after the flash. Overheating protection in modern CPU's can cause significant down clocking, so also make sure all case fans are spinning as they should.

 

I don't see cpu cache in the bios setup. Is there a way to fix the rollback not working? Can I fix the error for a signature file missing?

 

Ok so I know this is an old thread but I just had to go through this so I figured I'd save the next person the hassle.
On the motherboard the jumper is set horizontally on pins 1 & 2. In order to reset the bios the jumper needs to be set vertically on pins 2 and 6 (I think it's two rows of four but whatever pin is directly underneath the second pin).
