Rollback Microsoft Office 07 to 03

I'm absolutely tired of Microsoft office 07. I miss my 03 version and from others I have talked with they feel the same way. It's not just the new layout but it frustrates me because of all the "helpful features." It takes me longer to conduct my business in '07 not to mention the fact that I have to save it in 2 different versions because of my other contacts that do not have '07. :mad :cry :mad :cry

That being said...Is there a way I can roll back to Office '03 without much loss? I've rolled back previous Media Player's without loss. I really don't want to lose my e-mails.

I believe you would need to open all Word/Excel/etc. Office 2007 files and save them in the format of earlier versions of Office. I don't know how else you could do it.

You can set Word/Excel/etc. in Office 2007 to automatically save all files in the format of earlier versions of Office. So, that's a solution to the compatibility problem. Alternatively, those users in the office still using Office 2003 could install the free Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack.

I know the transition to Office 2007 can be a difficult one, as people you've shared your experience with have agreed. Still, I think it's worth the effort to learn it; let's face it, Microsoft is probably never going to return to the old familiar menu bar/toolbar interface many of us have known through numerous verisons of Office.
