roller coaster tycoon 3 not running

    Some Specs:
    Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit
    AMD Sempron 2.30 Ghz
    2 GB Ram
    ATI Radeon 4670


    It is really hard running this game. I have found some threads stating that in order to run this game, you may try putting it in compatibility mode. That I have tried, and does nothing. I tried downloading the directx aug2009 redist, and tried installing it, but nothing still. Could it be because I have a 64 bit OS? Any suggestions would be really helpful!
