Thanks :) And yeah they are, Chocolate reindeers.

LOL That's just one of the comments I hear from just about every persons mouth whos been married for a while. I'm sure it's not THAT bad cuz I know we all like to exaggerate but it is a little scary :p

It did actually, I left that on the bed, a bunch of flowers in vase on her desk, and two roses, crossed on the floor at the door. (I was thinking about that one afterwards and was thinking oh crap if she doesn't see em and steps on em I'm dead :-D)

Yeah, I dunno I reckon it just goes so quick ... it feels like yesterday was when we just met ...

Looks like everything went to plan, Drizzles. Yep, the years soon turn into decades, and before you realize, most of your life has gone - hopefully for the best. ~ Been there - got the shirt.rolleyes

Yeah - literally. "A T-shirt that reads, "I was the Love Generation." And has a pic of a decrepit old codger bent over with a walking stick. ( A tongue-in-cheek reference to 30 years of marriage)
(Pretty good for someone that's just turned 52, LoL!;):-D)

Hey Drizzles, don't take my comments too seriously, as i said, i wouldn't change her for the world, and if i had my time over again, i'd do it all exactly the same again and not change a thing, even with all the highs and lows all thrown in together !
I'm reallly glad you are in a position your in, and keep the love flowing :heart:heart

    With sincerity Rusty

I was talking to my mother about that just earlier today (she is visiting from Sweden, yay!) and she mentioned that this upcoming January, she and my dad will have been married for 36 years. And it was actually a little touching to see her blush a bit and suddenly have that very tender and warm expression in her eyes that I've never seen her use with anyone but him. :)

I'm thinking that if marriage success is hereditary, I'm good. ;)

That's cool :) I think I'm quite lucky to have my Mum and Dad still together, all my mate's Mums and Dads have split up. I think it's the way your raised and the mentality you gain as a result. Because in my opinion divorce is looked upon too lightly these days as a normal thing, in my opinion it should only be in the most extreme of cases. I mean, what are your wedding vows? Till death do us part??

Good job Drizzles. Wifey and I have been together for a couple decades and the kids still think it's funny when we smack each other on the bottom. ;)

As for romance, if I ever made the bed, she would be too shocked to even think about messing it up. :p
