Rootkit or DSN Hijack Issue

Hello, Im a newbie and this is my first time on this site as a member. I love the support that you have given over the years and you have helped me out numerous times. Now, I'm working on a computer and I am completely stomped.

I have been working on a computer that was seriously infected with all of the above. When I started I had the BSOD and then I ran a UBCD4wins cd like 6 times to make that it is was clean. At first I couldnt even follow your "Removing Malware" instructions because I couldnt remove Java or MyWebSearch from the add or remove programs section. After I ran the UBCD4wins cd, I was able to remove things.

Now the problem is that I can get into the computer normally, but now I cant get on the internet. I'm thinking that it could be a rootkit or a DSN Hijack that is causing these problems, but I dont know. I checked all of the network settings and everything looks right and I can get online in Safe Mode but I cant get online via normal mode. Is there something that I need to check? Is there another program that I can run to remove whatever it is? PLEASE HELP!!!

 

Im sorry but I also forgot to add that, while in Safe Mode, the time clock shows military time. This gives me an indication that there is a possible virus/malware/rootkit. Thank you for your time.
