For some reason about every 3-6hrs my email will stop responding. MSN also will not work. Internet browsing still is functional. If I unplug the router and replug it in everything goes back to normal.

Can anyone think of an issue that could be resolved here, short of the process I'm currently doing? I have tried a Linksys and a Netgear router, same results.

This post should be in the network forums, it definately sounds like a network issue. I had similar issues, but there were differences. Once a day my network would shut down, according to Verizon the dynamic IP would manditorily change once a day, and my router would require a manual reset to log back into their network. I don't know if this would relate to your issue though, and I don't remember what I did to fix it.

Have you figured out how to access your router though the network, it is an internal webpage within the router itself. This is where the settings are.

Sounds like you have a 'foreigner' on your system. Do the first stage in the Malware forum.
