Router that doesn't need reset???

Does anyone know of a fairly inexpensive router that does not need to be reset very often? I've had a netgear router that needed to be reset like 3 times a week. Needless to say it got thrown in the trash. I am currently using a Linksys router that needs to be reset only about once every 2 weeks. This is not a big deal when the router is sitting next to the computer. However, my house is wired for ethernet, and I would like to put the cable modem and router downstairs in the basement, but I don't want to have to run down there all the time to reset the router. Anyone have any good suggestions? I don't need a wireless router, but it would be a plus.

 

Nah, I've used the router with Time Warner, and WOW cable. Same problem with both. Not to mention, rebooting the router fixes the problem... Plus, the Netgear router I had was notorious for needing a reboot. Or at least that's what people were posting on the forums. Next time it happens, I will try resetting the cable modem to see if it fixes it so I can rule it out for sure.
