Routers

I never really used this router but i have to now since my wife has a pc up and running. Its so <snip>to go on css and get kicked by a console saying ur ping is way to high even tho its 116. Without the router i had uhh a good 30-50 ping in servers,so im blaming this POS router.Its a Linksys but with 8 mbs of speed it shouldnt kill me where i cant even play on a 50 ping. Man i remember being with dsl at 1.2 mbs and i would hit 50-70 pings.




Are there any routers meant just for high end gaming? Im sorry if i sound greedy but this is gay if i cant even play online games. It's annoying to be kicked all the time!!!

Secondly, check the activities on the computers connected to the router - are they uploading/downloading much, any P2P software open etc.

 

Potentially offensive stuff removed, lets move on.
