RSS or Podcast help

I have started to hear more and more about RSS and Podcast feeds and I am not real sure what it is. I gather it is a form of audio that is streamed onto computers. I have an mp3 player (not an ipod) and I wanted to know if it was possible to listen to these on my player after I have downloaded it to my computer. I get tired of listening to music all the time and wouldn't mind downloading some of these podcasts. What do I need? Where do I go? Thanks

If the podcast is in an audio file format your portable supports, like mp3, etc., yes you can. As for RSS, It would depend on whether your portable supports the feed in question.
