Is anyone familiar with this format for syndicating news and weather? Does anyone know how to instal the UserLand 2.0 version into a website? If so, I need your help putting one in a weather forecasting website. Thanks.

    You might find those useful.

Are you dragging the data from a database? If so, I strongly suggest you cache it rather than simply linking a php file... and have an updating script run on a cron job or a Scheduled Task, or simply have it update whenever an update is made via an admin interface (if you're using a web based solution).

I've found that using a feed made by a php script is slow and many RSS clients hammer it so your DB performance suffers quite badly.

You can use scripts to display the rss on your site there are a number of tools at http://www.rss-specifications.com/display-rss.htm for displaying rss.

If you are looking to create content and wish to export the contents to a search engine friendly webpage you could try FeedForAll http://www.feedforall.com our new beta creation tool that allows for the created rss to be exported in a number of different formats. :)
