i know its possible to have 2 os's running at the same time on 1 pc by using vm or virtualbox. but can both os's be used at the same time using 2 different monitors, mice , keyboard etc?

i am wanting 2 people to use the same pc at the same time running 2 different os's. just to save having 2 pcs running at the same time.

I'm big fan a vmware workstation, though vmware player might help since it doesn't cost $200+. You could install 2 OS's, then enable RDP on both. Have the two people RDP into them.
    Probably not what you need.

Two local sets of mouse and keyboard will conflict with each other. I am not sure how the OP will get around that. The screen issue won't be a problem.

It would be called Thinnet. You have a server, and what would be called "diskless" stations, that the users would use to connect to the server.
