RUN DLL prob

    my mother inlaw say she keeps getting run.dll error on her pc, what can i do to fix this..
    quickest easiest way , meaning that i have to tell mother in law who understands very little about technical jargon

    registry fix would sort it wouldnt it ?

    any opinions on this please feel free to reply

    Could you be a little more specific as to what the error message actually says? It may just be a case of downloading a new version of the DLL file. :)

    Think you will find the problem is rundll32.exe is the problem file. If that is the case and you have Xp you need to do a system file check.
    Click on Run and type in 'sfc /scannow' without the quotes and have the XP cd handy to restore the corrupt file.
