   I've been thinking of trying out windows 7 beta but the only pc i got that i could test it on doesn't have a lan card.
   Could i run windows 7 without updaing it?:innocent

   Yes, but possible issue could be activation of your key as you cannot connect to activation servers and the phone support for activation is not available as yet, not tried a system install without a NIC, give it a go though.
   
   The rearm (slightly different switch than was posted for Vista) command works if activation wont work past the 30 day limit and you only get 3 goes at this, so 90 days.
