RunDLL errors

my brother is having four rundll errors on startup
operating system ... vista

error loading
c:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\microsoft\protect\grjic.e
the specified module could not be found

error loading c:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\microsoft\protect\ruhovi.nf
the specified module could not be found

error loading c:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\microsoft\protect\uuubxif.p
the specified module could not be found

error loading c:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\microsoft\protect\ofnjko.qt
the specified module could not be found

i realize the extensions are more than displayed, but i couldn't find a single match even on something like grjic via google

right now he is just closing the windows and continues on ...

any help is appreciated ... thanks

 

It looks like these are remnants from a partial malware removal - the files are gone but the links to start them remain.

Probably best to go through the malware sticky to ensure all traces are fully removed and that there are no others still in situ: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407
