Every time I shut down it shows rundll.exe not responding, end now.
    Any ideas?

Star is exactly right - there are viruses that drop that file in XP, it's not a valid XP file.

Make sure your AV is updated to the latest definitions.

    So far I found win32:kuang2 and win32:nimda[Drp]
I think they are left over form where I had panda installed.
2 was in system restore which i since turned off for now.

That is what I meant about them being associated with Panda.
My Avast did find win32:kuang2 and repaired it so it seems.
The rundll.exe doesnt hang up anymore when I shut down.
And all seems to be ok. I am praying it is all ok now.
    Thanks for the help :)
