Rundll32.exe Application Error

Need help. Every time I restart my computer I get a Window Rundll32.exe Application error. with the number 0x10015560 and memory at 0x002a0000 or it wiull change to 0x00b9000. How do I get rid of it.

The Rundll32.exe Application error doesn't necessarily mean that the fault is with Rundll32.exe but it may well be caused by another errant DLL file.

What was the exact error message? Did it mention any module names or other applications?

Clcik on Cancel to debug the Program


I tried clciking on both, it still comes back.

 

Well I suspect it a device driver error but as to which one...confused

Try looking at the event log to see if taht gives any clues

 

Being an old newbie on computers I am not sure how to do the device driver. or where to look for the event.

 

A thought--unrelated to drivers--I once had this problem with a bad DotNET install.

Did you add any new software recently? Something that might run at startup?

As for the device driver - Right click My Computer>Properties>Hardware>Device Manager then look for any Yellow exclamation marks or red crosses.

The fact the last thing you installed was a printer may mean that that is the problem device.
