This is actually my second post on this topic, but damnably enough I can't find the old thread that had the solution. I want to run a TeamSpeak server from my computer, which is on a Network with a private IP. How do I get the clients of TS to connect to my server?
Last time, I believe I was told to find my public IP address (the one my ISP assigned me), give this IP address (with port) to the clients, and then forward that port via my router to my servers' private IP. Is that correct? Thank you for your assistance and patience.

I haven't used that software. Your router's external IP should be enough to cause internet routed requests to go to your ISP and then forward to you. The ISP assigned IP is your router's external IP. You can find that several ways, but if you know how to log into your router which you need to do to open a port anyway, it will display the router's IP. It will be an IP that does NOT start with 192.68.x.x which may also show.

When you have a server, you need to open the appropriate port(s) for the protocol that you are using so that data requests for that service will pass through the router.

If the clients have software for this "teamspeak," chances are you don't need to give them the port number. The software "should" know.

Maybe that will help get you started?
