Running computer in safe mode?

ok heres the problem.. im on my old computer right now.. i downloaded a program on my other computer that makes your screen for your monitor stretch all the way across your screen since mine didnt.. and i restarted my computer and i type my password in and everything and i log on.. then 10 secs later my computer restarts.. and it just keeps doing that.. so i wanted to go into safemode to delete the program.. but i guess my F keys dont work? they never work in these games i play either.. it says F1234 etc. on the front SIDE of the key.. and on the top it says stuff like "Help, New, Open, Save, Replace, Spell" and that stuff.... i pressed all the F keys and nothing happened at startup.. pressing delete just goes to CMOS.. is there another way i can get into safemode? b/c im assuming its the program b/c when i log on the program pops up then the computer restarts.. i dunno what to do .. help!

 

Press F8 and if that doesn't work try Ctrl + F8.
Not certain that will help but that is what I would do.

I think the specialty hot keys are usually managed by Windows or a program loaded by Windows, WAY after the BIOS loads basic keyboard drivers so the Help, New, Open, Save, Replace, Spell stuff shouldn't come into play yet.

My keybord did that and after a bit of looking I found a "F" lock button. Myabe boot with a different keyboard
